1. Introduction

Welcome to Daikan.uk ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By placing an order with us, you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These govern the supply of our catering services and apply to all transactions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. Services Provided

We provide catering services for events, functions, and personal orders, including but not limited to: deliveries of food to designated delivery locations, collection from designated locations by the customer, buffet catering, corporate catering, private events, wedding catering, etc.. All services are subject to availability and acceptance of your order.

3. Ordering Process

  • Orders must be placed at least 2 days in advance by 10pm. Short-notice orders may be accepted at our discretion.

  • Orders can be placed via our website daikan.uk

  • A confirmation email and invoice will be sent once your order is accepted. Orders without confirmation will not be considered as accepted.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include applicable taxes.

  • The full pre-payment of your order is required to secure your booking.

  • Full payment is due upon receipt of the invoice and is required before the 10pm cut off point 2 days prior to the delivery date. .

  • We accept payments via credit/debit card, Applepay.

  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email to hello@daikan.uk

  • If cancelled more than 2 days before the agreed delivery time a full refund will be issued. We will also strive to accomodate a change to delivery date pending service availability.

  • Orders cancelled within 2 days window will unfortuantely not be refundable unless we cancel the order.

  • In the event of cancellation by us due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

6. Delivery and Collection

  • We deliver within the areas stipulated on our ‘daikan.uk/order-for-delivery’ page. .Additional charges may apply for locations beyond our standard delivery zone.

  • Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery within the agreed delivery-window.

  • If collection is required, the customer must adhere to the agreed pick-up schedule.

7. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

  • We take dietary requirements seriously and provide allergen information upon request.

  • While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that food is completely free from allergens due to shared kitchen environments.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform guests of any allergens present in our food.

8. Food Safety and Liability

  • Our food is prepared in accordance with UK food safety standards.

  • Once delivered or collected, we are not responsible for food stored or handled incorrectly.

  • Customers should consume food within the advisory timeframe of 4 hours

9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

  • We will investigate complaints and, where appropriate, offer refunds or replacements at our discretion.

  • Disputes shall be governed by UK law.

10. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, transport issues, supply chain disruptions, or illness.

  • In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or refunds where feasible.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We collect personal data to process orders and provide services.

  • We may share delivery details with third-party processors, such as Google Maps, for logistical purposes.

12. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated via our website or email.
